Resolved iMac cursor went straight black

Recently after I turned on my Mac, the cursor....it has the same shape as it should but its completely black. Even with the swirly waiting cursor, it's the same shape but its black. Same thing with my Starcraft 2 cursor. Any idea with how to solve this? :confused:

EDIT: wow I feel pretty stupid all i had to do was restart... :rolleyes:
