Model: iMac 27" i7 Mid-2011

My iMac became unusable nearly three years ago due to a power failure, the motherboard, processor and graphics card got fried in the process.

I got told I could sell whatever is left for a total of 50 - 100 USD, but for that amount I'd rather have it as a nice decoration! (hey, it looks pretty)

But I was wondering if you guys have any ideas on what can I do with it, can I use it as a display for a PC or Laptop? or something / anything at all?

or is it indeed no more than a nice decoration?

Thank you

If the logic board is dead, I am not sure you can use it for much of anything. If you wanted to use it in targeted display mode as an external monitor, you would need to pass through the motherboard to do that.

I am afraid all you have is a paperweight.
