iMac Defect Update

Thanks for the link.

Its interesting to know that its been proven to NOT be an LED lighting issue, and that the LED's run at 9300K! That's extremely blue!
 
The end-product of Gizmodo's many weeks of teeth-gnashing and investigative journalism:

"So from what we can tell, iMac displays don't have an LED problem—which certainly comes as a surprise".

Actually, yes this link has, and that is exactly what I'm referring to. The Gizmodo story/blog has been discussed a TON on here. But hey, why not start another discussion? 20 threads on the same topic must not be enough...

It appears that this is actually a new article. Look at the date.

Well, they claim it's not an LED problem, but has anyone else performed an independant test as well to verify this?
