iMac Delivery 2 Weeks!

I just ordered an iMac for my parents. Its a standard configuration (3.06 GHz) and the 'Estimated ship' was 1-3 days on the Spanish Apple website. My order changed this morning stating that it will be delivered in 2 weeks. Its a good job I have not told them about it yet.

Is anybody else experiencing delays like this?

Mine said it would take 2 weeks to deliver from ship date all along since before I completed the checkout. Its shipped now and has actually reduced to just under a week and a half delivery. Still seems very very very slow to post something, but as I say, its said 2 weeks from the start so I knew what to expect.

I could understand a delay if I had customised it but I haven't. Hopefully the delivery estimate will change. There is not much I can do about it I will just have to wait.

I ordered mine the day they were announced (Monday) and it shipped Monday night! I got the 3.06GHz with Nvidia video card. It arrives today. (not rubbing it in, of course)
