So I called fedex and the lady said she spoke with the shipper:
The box seem tampered with so they just opened it to inspect it, its not damaged. If there is a problem with it you can always let us know and have us pick it up for return.
Sounds fishy. Should I refuse it?

so i got it yesterday and the fedex brown box looks fine. But I noticed 3 pieces of tape on the apple imac box. the center one which im sure is from apple and 2 pieces on left and right. Does apple do that? I believe my imac from 2 years ago only had a center piece of tape on the box.

Calling FedEx is a total waste of time in this situation. Apple should immediately replace the computer.I say call Apple. Calling FedEx will just give you a s**tstorm of dead ends and complicated solutions. Apple does have the best CS on earth, and they won't just hand a product over to FedEx and forfeit responsibility, get real.
