Hi

I took the plunge on saturday and bought and iMac 27", 16Gb Ram, 1tb HDD. On the site it stated 3 days delivery, thinking i would have it for the middle of this week i went ahead and ordered. But my delivery date is now 7/8th July. I have been checking out posts here of members receiving their new imacs but talking about long waits.

Is this normal with online apple orders, if so why state 3 days on the website?

I know i am just being impatient but i soooooooooooooo want my iMac:p

It means that its 3 days till it is shipped from China, the other days are for transporting it to your delivey address.

thanks for the reply, the worrying thing is i still have not had a shipped email from apple, but looks like i will just sit tight and learn to be patient.

thanks

chris

Apple are usually very good when it comes to delivery. My 27" i7 arrived the next day...although as you've upgraded the RAM, you may have to wait a few extra days.
Plus, dont forget you have the weekend coming up, that may affect your delivery time also. Dont worry though, just be patient, im sure you'll have your iMac sometime early next week. It will be worth the wait, trust me!

I live in NJ, I ordered my iMac (refurb) on the 25th, it shipped out on the 26th from California, and is being delivered today. I can't wait to go home, 3 Day weekend coming up and the boss is letting us leave early. :D
