Hey everyone:

I'm not sure if this is a problem with my Mac or my iPhone so i posted something similar to this in the iphone forum.

I tried to sync my iphone to my imac last night and it didn't work out so well. My iphone started syncing as usual then iTunes froze then my entire screen switched to vertical thin colored lines. I had to restart the computer to fix it.

This now happens every time i try to sync my phone. my nano syncs fine. It seems to occur only when data is added to the phone (apps, podcasts, etc.) This happened yesterday which happens to be the same day my warranty expired.

any ideas? i tried multiple restores of the computer and iphone. my iphone syncs perfectly with my PC at my office.

Thanks,
Nick

This happened to me too yesterday. I rebooted the iMac twice and same thing. Then I switched off the phone and started it again, but I had to go out, so haven't tried it again.

Any luck with the problem?

No, I'm stuck at work for the next few hours. i have an appointment at the apple store tonight but i'm trying to avoid going. I'm kind of freaked out since my warranty expired yesterday as well.

I noticed in some of the posts that it mentioned syncing podcasts and that's when it happened to me. The podcast in question shows on my iPhone, but will not play.

Hang tight I guess?!
