my 21,5 inch mid 2010 imac lcd broke now i need to buy a new one and i found a cheap 21,5 inch 2011 imac lcd, the question is if it would fit into my imac because they arent the same models and i couldnt really see ports on the Pictures. Does anyone know if it fits?

They have repair guides for many iMacs.
You ought to be able to find the info you need there.

I already searched for it there but I didnt found anything about it, but the images did look the same. I just want to be sure. Thats why I asked here.

I just found something that told me it would work but the thermal sensor would not fit in its port. Thats not really a problem for me because I normally use a fan controller app so i can set the fan speed manually.

I know for sure that the 27" LCD is not compatible..

I'm pretty sure that the 21.5" LCD is not compatible as well.
You could check the cable size.
Both the signal cable and the V-sync cable would not fit.
