Hello,
So I have a 2013 27" iMac and the problem is that it doesn't show bootable usb device anymore on the boot picker
I have a SD card that I keep a Ventura OCLP installer just in case and this one shows up but, but it won't show any bootable USB thumb drive, tried with a 32GB 3.0 SanDisk and a No Name 8GB 2.0.
The no name 2.0 used to work as it was this one that I used for Bootcamp and Linux iso, but it doesn't anymore.
Both were formatted in GUID, and flashed with balenaEtcher, tried with different iso, no luck
Tried to make a bootable macOS install drive, no luck either.
It doesn't show up on OpenCore either, do you know what could be the issue ?
Tried with the USB 2.0 Hub on my Dell monitor (in case of it was because of the usb 3.0) but no luck either.

Thanks a lot

Try booting to INTERNET recovery.

Command-OPTION-R
at bootup.

Hold down these keys and KEEP HOLDING THEM DOWN for a while.

If you are connecting via wifi, you'll need your wifi password.
(ethernet is better if available)

The internet utilities take a while to load, be patient.

Can you get to the internet utilities?

If you can get that far, my advice is:
- forget about OCLP
- erase the ENTIRE internal drive
- re-install whatever OS the installer offers
- restore your data and go on from there.

Fishrrman's "Mac Rule Number 1":
A Mac that boots (to any version of the OS) is better than one that won't boot at all.

So no I won't run Catalina, OCLP works fine by itself and I need a newer OS.
It worked fine before (still on OCLP) so it's not where the issue lie
The problem is that it wouldn't boot to Linux USBs.
But turns out the problem solved itself somehow
