Wish I could delete this post, but if anyone also has this problem the glass outer screen is amazingly easy to remove! My screen is looking like it just came from Apple!

P.S. Might as well ask another question even though I found the answer to my original. So, my iMac has some gunk on the left side of it (aluminum part), any advice on removing it? Tried some goo-gone but it seemed even a bit too strong for that. Looks like it was used to hold a sign on the side of the iMac or something of the sort, glue like gunk.

Didn't watch the whole video closely, but almost any size of suction cup is able to pull the glass protective screen off.. then just use compressed air. I did this when I replaced the HD with a SSD. Worked great.

21.5

and my 21.5 have the same problem.....dast left up corner....now what; HELP. THANK U:mad:

iMac dust problem

I have the same problem. There is no way I'll go buy "good quality suction cups" and "compressed air" to clean a brand new product, every few month!
This is at product failure wich Apple will have to fix for us... Go complain in the stores please! I will.
