Have a 24" Early 2008 that had a defective GPU (was a GeForce 8800 GS), and swapped it out for a Radeon HD 2600 Pro. The computer works now, but I am noticing strange 'stuck pixels' appearing from time to time. I can somewhat reliably reproduce them by bringing up Launchpad or initially booting into the OS.

The 'stuck pixels' are almost always green, but disappear when I make a selection box over them on the Desktop. They do not favor any particular area on the screen and can appear anywhere in small pattern-like groups

Is this GPU also partially defective? I think maybe some dust got inside the MXM slot when I did it last (sloppily). Would this produce an error as shown?
