Pretty advanced instructions! I hope the 'average mac user' doesn't have any problem with this! Have you noticed any changes in your iMac?

Apparently you don't have any grandparents who use a mac. Anything other than shutting the machine down and restarting it is advanced for my grandmother. 100 words of instructions likely won't get read, and I'll have to make the trip over to "fix the gol' dang machine".

Don't be so high up on your horse that you can't understand what its like to be less capable with computers. If I told you something was wrong with my car, and all I have to do is readjust the timing belt, simple as that... odds are most of the people in this forum wouldn't know where to start. BUT, many other people would laugh and laugh at you for not having this basic auto-maintenance knowledge.
