Hi,
What with the new iMac releases, I'm suddenly undecided about what to buy. I was planning on the 2.4ghz 24", although now there's a baseline model, just with a smaller hard-drive and screen, that's just as powerful.
I'm going to be doing quite a lot of stuff in Garageband, and probably Logic Studio when I feel I need to buy it. I'm also gonna be getting Design Premium CS3, for some photo editing and graphic/web design.
The new 2.8ghz 24" looks awesome, but is it too powerful for my needs? I have trialed both the 20" and 24" screens, and I can notice the difference in the 24", a lot brighter, and the extra screen space is awesome, but I just curious if I'll need it. (Coming from a 19" widescreen monitor, running at 1280x800)
Thoughts would be appreciated greatly.
