imac for g-ma

So my grandmother is turning 90 in January and we thought of a new computer for her, naturally a mac is best for her and us to help troubleshoot. Anyway my mom thought of an iMac because of its all in one design and for her uses is more then plentiful. But my concern is the dam glossy screen. I'm unsure on how easily she will be able to see the screen. Anyone have any comment on this. I think i might just get a mini and hook it up for a normal matt screen.
Whats your thoughts. Any grandparents care to comment on the screen.

Get a huge CRT if you can and run it at a low resolution.

What about getting her a refurb 17" iMac? That would be more than plentiful for her, and the screens are great. The best part, it only costs $850.
