Sometimes it does, like right now I was watching a video on facebook and then swiped the mouse to get to the the Mail app and it just froze. I had to unplug and reboot it. Does this happen to you often as well? The Mac is only 3 weeks old and purchased brand new at the Apple Store. I guess I'm just unlucky with Apple products like the Magic Mouse 2 which is pure crap it gets micro scratches as soon as you unbox it, I'm on my 3rd one in a 2-month period.

1. Can you share your crash log please? Maybe we can help you.

2. Please stop buying new Magic Mice because of micro scratches... This is ridiculous. Buy another mouse or live with the scratches.

How do I see that? There's no crash message. It just stops responding to the mouse and keyboard commands and stays that way indefinitely until I unplug and reboot.

my 2007 iMac crashes too.

logs I was told is in utilities and console.
But I not sure what I'm looking at or what to post either.

When mine crash mouse moves but cannot click anything nor does any keyboard input do anything.
I have hold power button.

I think it has something to do with safari on my Mac, unknown about OP

Ditch that crud mouse and get a Magic Trackpad, they are far better. They charge an absurdly ridiculous, although guaranteed, ratifiable by millions, price for them, and the Magic Trackpad 2 is more ugly than Magic Trackpad 1 but at least you don't have to fall into the canyon of crazed rechargeable AA batteries losing their capacity in inordinately short timespans. LOL

Take it back to Apple. It’s defective they will fix or replace it.

As for the mouse, do you wear rings at all? that’s probably your issue with scratches, mice will get scratched though why worry about it.

Yes my mouse also moves but the computer won't respond.
This doesn't happen multiple times per day but like 1 time every three or more days.
Could it be a macOS bug? I have the latest version of High Sierra.
I will call Apple Support if it ever happens again.
