My iMac is only a few months old and has been working very well lately. However just the other day I was using Safari and iTunes and all the sudden it froze on my for the very first time. So i restarted it using the power button solution and that seemed to do the trick. Then just today it did the same thing and I had to do the same thing again to fix it. Does anyone know what is going on or if this is happening to anyone else. I am kind of thinking it has something to do with the new software update 10.5.5 because this has never happened before I downloaded and installed the update.

Thanks

Try verifying/repairing your disk from disk utility and your permissions. If you continue having that problem maybe you should go to an apple store.
