In the imacs video presentation Mr Ive said that they tried do it the most glass they could.

I was thinking about an all glass imac front just with a white apple logo...

would you like that? i am no photoshop expert but i will try mockup one for fun.

again, i am not an photoshop expert. just did this so you get a picture...

I think that'd look sweet but it would look too much like the apple monitor. What I'd really like to see is a true edge to edge screen with no bezel. Can't get any more minimalist than that. If anyone could pull something off like that, it'd be Apple.

My future iMac would have a consistent colors across the screen, specially white, each and every time.

then it would just look like the 24" cinema displays.

lol I'd much rather Apple would focus more on making the screen not so yellow, and then worry about the design.

Especially since the design is so close to perfect as it is. While i would prefer a white Mac to a black one (Classic Apple), i'd much prefer the aluminum and glass look of current models to any color plastic, etc.

My vision of a future iMac would be the current stand slightly thicker (the thickness of the current MBP's) and about the width of the current iMac default bluetooth keyboard. Slot loading on the right-side. The stand is attached at the bottom middle (thanks to the light weight) with an apple-shaped mount.

The screen is (rounded-bezel edged) glass about the depth of current MBP lids. (ideally, when the technology is there, a free-floating glass) Anyway, the apple logo on the reverse side is laser etched into the metal frame, lit with led's using a very subtle "shimmer" effect. Would be neat if it had a "center rear-cam" that would help project the illusion of a slightly translucent desktop.

The mouse would be a small device you merely put the tip of your index finger into, allowing clicks and gestures on your desk, and in front of the screen. The keyboard would be replaced with a thin rounded-edge plexi-glass, that is the same size as the current default iMac keyboard, only the keys are laser-etched and led-lit. The keyboard could double as a touch-pad, as it is capable of detecting "pressure levels".

Roughly or so, that is.

what i would like to see would be a iMac in between the ipad and the 21.5
and according to that a processor in between , ideally a 15.6 inch widescreen and one of the minis processors

and white bezel

looks nice , but i still want a white bezel and a smaller
ideally 15.6 " touchscreen,
a 1.6ghz - 2ghz dual core processor ,
and a easy to demount foot ,
so it could be used as desktop on mains
or as a " iPad maxi " with battery
