iMac G3 Gray Vintage PPC conversion to flat screen?

I have an old Apple iMac G3

iMac 400 MHZ DV SE (Late 1999) and I want to take the guts out and hook it up to a flat screen monitor for compactness. Has anyone thought of this, done this and is it it possible?
