iMac G3 Screen.

Hello. I have just bought a couple iMac g3's recently to add to my collection. One of the ones (tray loading lime) screen is kinda screwy. When I first turned it on all that appeared on the screen was blue. I then smacked the top of the iMac and and it seemed to fix everything...except there is now no blue. Is the crt dead or dying? Or should i rip the computer apart to see if a cable is not in all the way?
