Hi fellow Mac Users, first time posting here.
I started my PowerMac experience with a little bit of an hassle...
I managed to score an iMac G3 snow white (from my understanding not the most available of the existing colors) and, unfortunately, after working somewhat fine (It booted in a Linux Kernel that was installed by the previous owner, it was corrupted), since I wanted to install MacOS from its original CDS that I own but was not reading any bootable CD while pressing alt/option at start, I decided to reset PRAM/NVRAM with the keyboard combination and then completely stopped working, ora at least, as per title, It just:

no display, no white indicator, no boot, no chime, just a speaker pop (probably whats left of the chime) and a green led blink on the board when connecting the power cable, and that just for a matter of half a second.

I already tried to reset the board, detach the ram and the airport slot but I did not get any different response, the status light on the front never manages to turn on.

Just as extra information, there is some beige plastic rattling inside the machine, probably a little part of the bezel that from my understaning it's used to disintegrate over time.

Is there any way to revive it?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! I don't know much about this model but searches on this forum may turn up some relevant info. It sounds like you've tried the basics; a fresh battery and PMU reset might be something to try. This also might be a model that can be reset by pressing and holding the power button for a loooong time. Sometimes failing power supplies can diagnosed by changing temperature (search 'hair dryer'), or by combinations of plugging/unplugging and power button sequences.

Good luck and let us know how it goes...
