Hello,
I am new to this fourm, please let me know if I do anything wrong with the terms or rules. I recently got an iMac G4 from a Garage Sale and I got it for about $10. So, I turn it on at my house and it starts perfectly fine with an welcoming chime and an Apple logo until I get the "You need to restart the computer" info with 4 languages and on top of that there is about 20-25 lines of code saying the following
panic(cpu 0 caller 0x002E1028): Unable to find drive for this platform: "PowerMac4,2".
and it says something about the "Latest stack backtrace for cpu:" and "No debugger configured - dumping debug information" and at the end it says "panic: We are hanging here". I am new to Mac and have been working with them for a few hours so I don't know many things, So, tell me in detail what do do. I don't have an original os disk but I do have an keyboard and mouse (Let me know if I need to do get an OS X 10.0 disk from somewhere). Other things I think you would need to know is that I prefer keeping the data on the Mac and if you need an photo of the iMac with the error, let me know! The Mac has an sticker with some of the specs of the Mac
(Has 1GB of SD Ram and 60 GB of Storage)
Thanks in advance!
