Got off of Craigslist for $70!

Has 1.25GHz Power PC CPU, Geforce 5200 64MB GPU, 786MB Ram (upgradable to 2GB), 80GB HDD, "Pioneer brand" Super Drive, 1650x1080 Resolution. It's very nice! I always wanted one and this one just popped up and couldn't resist. It's on 10.4.x and I know it's not going to be anything useful for the web browsing. Has Word 2004, a few games. Didn't realize this particular one goes for a decent amount on eBay.

GRAH, the design of this iMac is just stunning!

Heavy too lol

Ahh I Still get excited when I see one in movies and tv from the day... I'm a youngin' and I remember looking at my sad Windows Xp computer and just knowing I was missing out an experience.

Nice find! I recommend you post this in the PowerPC Macs section, there you'll find people who like and use Macs of this age.

You can get a modern web browser for PowerPC 10.4.11 called TenFourFox. Browsing the web on a G4 is slow, but does work just fine for the most part.

So I plan on upgrading the HDD to a (cheap) SSD. What PATA-->SATA adapter works best for this iMac G4?

My newest addition is a Bondi Blue iMac ("Kiva") from Summer 2001.

500Mhz with 512MB of RAM (upgradeable to 1GB) and Airport 802.11b capable.

Came with matching colored Apple keyboard, no mouse!

$20

That wouldn't be Bondi Blue, only the original was Bondi Blue. Yours is probably an Indigo.

I'm going off of what the Apple Serial Info site says, and it looks "blue" in color to me. Isn't Indigo a more greenish/blue?

Indigo it is!
[doublepost=1463456781][/doublepost]Prices are all over the place on these iMacs. Not as heavy as the eMac I have though!
