I am trying to get my iMac G4 as a 'wireless adapter' for my xbox 360 so i can connect to live. ihave wathced videos on how to do this, but on my sharing folder there is no check box to allow sharing...WHY?!!

Dont know what you mean by "sharing folder"....

You might need to enable fire sharing. Check the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Sharing to see if file sharing is enabled.

You are on a G4 so you may be running os 10.4 Tiger. In this case you will need a program like SharePoints to enable file sharing on a specific folder.

To Share you network connection, you must be running Tiger or higher. Then go to System Preferences>Sharing, select Internet Sharing, then select Airport from the drop-down, and Ethernet from the list below. Give it a few minutes for IPs to get distributed, then viola, it works*.

*Working not guaranteed.
