Haven't they already stopped? Why would they keep making them? They will sell off the rest of their stock and be done with it.

Yes, they are still listed as normal on the apple store. The same thing happened when the G5s were first introduced - for a while, one could buy a powermac G4 1.25 Ghz, but it didn't last very long.

I wonder if there'll be any discounting going on to clear G5s and make room for Intels. Maybe not with the apple stores but prehaps with resellers. Though I'd have thought it would have started already if it was to be the case.
