iMac G5 iSight...shouldn't there be a light sensor?

Hey All,
I just got a new iMac G5 courtesy of AppleCare. It's a Rev C. So shouldn't there be a light sensor that automatically adjusts the screen brightness? I turned all the lights off, but it didn't seem to change anything. Am I supposed to turn it on or something?

It doesn't alter the screen brightness. It alters brightness of the sleep light.

That's it? Boooo....it would be so cool to automatically adjust the screen brightness. Wouldn't that make sense? Just dim the screen brightness when the room is dark? Sort of like with the PowerBook keyboards (in reverse, though).

The new MacBook Pros have that feature for their screens, and its recieved poor reviews by some. (This is mainly due to the sensitivity of the light sensor, where it gets really bright and then really dim very quickly, for no reason)
