Okay guys, this is worrying me so I decided to post it. My iMac G5 has been on all day and my brother has been playing a game on it. It is now making there weird noises, kind of sounds like a slow printer (you know what I'm talking about, the noise that some older printers make as they're printing.) Anyways, its really weird and I'm selling my eMac so my iMac is gonna be my main machine and I don't want it to have any problems. I could *try* to take a recording of the noise off my eMac, but I'm not sure how audible it would be.

Thanks!

This probaly is normal what REV is this iMac. If it is a faint cliking soud it probably the HD spinning.

It might be the hard drive. I know my bro had a damaged hard drive and sometimes it would make some strange noises.
