Hey all

Was having an issue between getting a MBP with and external monitor or an iMac + mbp.

Seeing they the same price.

How does the iMac 8800 game?
Can it play COD4 with ease?

How about crysis??

The processor with make much difference will it??

Plus, when is it expected for the iMacs to come out with Quad core??

quad core imacs... hhhmmm depends who you ask, im thinking end of year.

800 playing crysis/cod4??? seriously... my MBP could play it..

My iMac (with the 8800) handles both of those games fine, CoD4 is set to pretty much high in everything while Crysis I have had to tweak the settings but it is still set pretty high across the board, only the Shadows were set down to Medium or Low, but it runs smoothly and with no problems.

The only game that I did get noticeable slowdown with is Assassins Creed, but I have fixed that.

I use XP, so if you're going to use Vista you may get a bit of a better result from what I understand.
