iMac HDD replacement question...

Have a buddy that has a 24" iMac ( intel ) and his hdd is starting to fail, will a 2.5" macbook pro style HDD physically mount correctly in his iMac?? Or does it need to be 3.5"??

Yes, but you need an adapter like this. Personally, I would get a 3.5" HD as they are much faster and bigger. Only cost like 50 bucks

I know but he wants to try the Seagate Momentus XT 7200 Hybrid SSD. I will look into getiing an adapter
