Can a humidifier in a small room do damage to an iMac that's also in the same room? This may be a silly question, but I'm wondering if the moisture in the air will somehow cause "water" damage. I know cell phones left in the bathroom during a shower (even ones that aren't necessarily steaming hot) can cause water damage.

Also be wary of any mineral/salt deposits from said humidifier depending on the water you're using to fill the it. If you're using a cool/warm mist humidifier, be especially wary. Dissolved solids will remain deposited after evaporation which can affect electronics.
