Guys... :(

My new iMac i5 (Mid 2010) is dead... after only 3 days using it...

I was watching a movie in quicktime and suddenly all screen was messed up (lots of artifacts and coloful pixels all around)... Then I've restarted the computer and now only shows vertical bars... I've made a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBMJsZGkOAM

It looks definitely a hardware problem (I would say a graphics card) anybody knows anyone else having the same problem? Tomorrow first thing in the morning I'll be going back to the store and returning it. I hope to get all my money back (2.000 Euros).

It is definitely a major problem as is DEAD. :( I never saw such lines to be honest and looks like the graphics card is totally gone.

As I've said I will go back to the store tomorrow morning and I will return it. (I don't want a replacement, as I've got a bad feeling about this product).
Now I just hope to get all my money back.

You can try a replacement, everyone and everything deserves a secong chance, obviously that's up to you, I'd recommend get a replacement on the store but with your previous warning that if it happen again you will directly go for your full refund or lawsuit!

sucks that you got such a crappy machine to begin with. Exchange it or get your money back. Give it a 2nd chance like some other people have said. It may work out for you after all. :D

Well, such things happen. You just picked the bad card. Let them exchange it.

Don't give up. Just exchange it. Seriously. There's always going to be some form of bad apple in the bunch. Such is life. But don't give up because you'll be missing out on an amazing machine. I don't regret getting my iMac in January for even a second.
