I've done some more tests with 4k files and it really doesnt get over 98 degrees.

Hello all,

I just used my i5/M395X machine for 11 hours straight with 100 % CPU and 100 % GPU usage.
I have some logs (GPU-Z and Afterburner) for you in my Dropbox, and it's really telling.

The CPU temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius one time and the GPU never goes beyond 94 degrees Celsius.

So much for the "overheating troubles" many folks are shouting around.

I edited a short 3 min video again and the cpu got up to 100 degrees, have to test if the cpu speed goes down due to this.

What were you using? And was it during actual encoding or while you were just editing the chip? Did the fans kick in? Thanks

During the editing and playing back at full the fans kicked in and the temp was around 94 and it took me about 15-20 mins to edit and then encoding took about 8 mins and during that the cpu touched 100 many times and stayed around 95-99 with fans going crazy. I think this machine would not be good for editing large 4K files. And my video had only 60mb bit rate imagine if it was 100mb then how would this computer handle that.
