hi
I have been trying to find some help to no avail (hope I'm posting in correct place). My Intel imac EMC 2114 had a problem with the power supply - it appered slightly burnt. I have replaced with recon which looked fine. Connected all back up and its not booting. With the power cable connected LED 1 is light. Pressing the power button lights up LED2 and makes the CD click and LED3 comes on and the white LED also comes on and then fades out. Nothing else happens. The 3 LEDs stay on but no chime, screen stays black and no fans start.
I have taken out RAM and reseated, unplugged power lead held in power switch for 5 seconds etc. Any ideas? My thoughts are fried logic board. Any help greatly appreciated.

have you really connected all cables /wires , didn't damage anything when you took it apart (easy done you would not be the first)

I have check all my wires, disconnecting and reconnecting them all. I was careful when dismantling but cant be sure as its a pain taking them apart as we all know. Does anyone know if the sequence of lights and the fading of the white power light and then off means anything?
