Hello all,
My 2 Ghz Intel iMac with 2 GB of RAM, running Snow Leopard, has been acting goofy for quite some time now.
Its symptoms are it takes whole minutes to wake up from sleep or if I've been not using it for a while and the screen saver is running. If I wake it up or the screen saver has been on, it will beach ball for almost a minute before the computer is usable.
Also, it freezes while I'm using it quite often, needing a hard restart about once a day.
I've run disk repair and it helped a little, but didn't totally correct the problem.
I would like to do a clean install of Snow Leopard.
I have my data backed up using Time Machine and would like to reinstall my stuff from it.
My question is if I do this, will I be reinstalling the problem from my Time Machine backups?
Thanks in advance.
