I have a late 2012 iMac and I am looking for a solution for the hardly accessible usb and jack ports. I've found some perfect usb hubs but none of them consists a jack port. What would you suggest to buy at a reasonable price and with a good sound quality?

Ehh, there are plenty of headphone extension cords available online. Something like this would do the trick: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Earphone-Extension-Headphone-Plated-Laptops-gold/dp/B002XWXYH4

With regards to sound quality, it won't be obviously worse or constantly cut out/crackle, if that's what you're worried about.
