iMac jumping/jittery scrolling issue

Hey ya all,

So I got this new iMac.. 27", its literally 2 months old.. they problem is that when I try and scroll with the "magic mouse" its way jittery to the point where I can see blocks moving across the screen. Swpiing sideways get s the same reaction..

I have office, autocad and adobe suite installed.

Grateful for any assistance before I throw the screen over my balcony! (dont mean that literally..)

If it would help, I can upload a video of my pain..

PS: been to the "genius bar".. they replaced the mouse and sent me on my way..

Connect a wired mouse and see if it's the same, if not it's something in the OS.

still got it..

Yep, even with a wired mouse I am having the same issue. Any ideas on how I go about diagnosing what is wrong and how to fix it? Interestingly, I installed Chrome and its way less jumpy than safari.. but it still isn't smooth.
