I am waiting for the new iMac line up to be released with Lion and Thunderbolt.
Since I am a videoeditor and running out of internal and external HDD space. I am wondering if I should wait to buy another LaCie 4big Quadra with "possibly" thunderbolt technology. I emailed Lacie and got a reply that they are introducing thunderbolt to most external HDD but they don't know when it will be introduced.

I am waiting for the iMac but I don't know what to do with the Lacie

Another question i have, when thunderbolt gets introduced and i use the connector for my external hdd, how will i be possible to connect my second monitor?

doesn't really answer his question. But OP I'm assuming you will only be able to connect one style of device at a time, which would be a huge bummer. I wonder if it would support an external display and a hookup for a hard drive in the same thunderbolt adapter...

I made the order and i am going to use Firewire 800 if there is the option for multi connections the next one will features Thunderbolt
