I have an iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) and some old Logitech z5500 speakers.

What's the best way to connect them? I was on Amazon but the Toshlink cable I was looking at says they're only compatible with iMacs dating from 2014.

Can someone give me advice. This is the back of the speaker controllers.

they've got that the other way around. Apple removed the jack in 2015. If you've got a machine made before that, (and you do)you're golden.

Ah cheers, will order that cable immediately. Thanks. I actually bought these speakers ten years ago and ashamed to say due to moving house and getting work done have never plugged them in until now. o_O
