Hi,
I have 3.06GHz, nVidia 8800GS, early 2008 24" iMac (A1225). I've got early 2009 logic board for free (820-2491-A). Is it possible to change early 2008 logic board for early 2009 logic board? I know that there are some slight differences like 4 USB ports instead of 3, etc. I want to do that because of DDR3 RAM support. Thank You!

You should get the CPU that come with the logicboard, too. Minimize the change as much as possible.
DDR3 sticks are more popular, and you can install as much as 8GB (4Gb x 2) in stead of 6GB. But performance gain is not significant. Unless you has the high-end logic board which allow MXM card ugprade.
