Hi all,
I would like to hear from your experience with M1 iMacs, as I've had this one for a month and a half and the temperature I was able to monitor due to a problem rose last week. I4ve had to incidents where it rose big time and the fans started to be very loud although nothing much was going on.
I mean , I got my old 2017 entry level iMac standing next to it on the same desk, more "third party apps" are open on it than on the M1 and the 2017 one is not any warm, except if you touch the screen, the M1 iMac is too warm to my taste if you touch it around the exhaust fan, I'd like to know if it sounds alright to other iMac M1 users and it's like those are just less good than the previous generations, or if they think there's a problem. If you ask me I've tried getting more precise about what causes what but without any app running it's already too hot to me (45°C after a fresh reboot with caches/launch agents emptied).
As the apple guys offered to take care of it in case the problem, if it is considered one, continues, I would really like to hear from your own experiences, because the info I have found elsewhere on the internet is close to spam and won't let me think clearly about it. Or maybe it could be an issue caused by the recent Monterey update and some of you know about it...?
Thank you in advance
