I recently bought a Mac and it came with the standard keyboard, but I am not a fan of it. Update: It appears like this was fake news, just watched the spring loaded event again and this numeric keyboard with Touch ID wasn't announced :( It's a pretty cool concept though, they should have a product like this!

I believe that keyboard is already available as a customer configure. My local store had one they were sent by accident, and they let me take a look at it.

looked at apple website, but do not see this keyboard. how does apple identify it: apple does not use model numbers? are keys the same, just a different layout of keys? advantage of this keyboard vs. standard version?

nevermind, it is the keyboard with the numeric keypad. kyroo's attached image was cut off. it is an extra $30 with the purchase of the new iMac; or $129 by itself.

I recently bought a Mac and it came with the standard keyboard, but I am not a fan of it. During the Spring Loaded even Apple showed another version of the same keyboard and I was wondering when it's going to be available.
The keyboard in the image is magic keyboard with numeric keypad(colour matched to the imac colour ordered)

As of today it is available only if you configure your computer and pay extra for it at the time of order. The coloured keyboards might be available to purchase separately later.

If you want a magic keyboard with numeric keypad, you can get one in Silver colour today on Apple.com. Also note that this particular keyboard does not have TouchID.
