Does anyone know the maximum external screensize that can be attached to the new imac's in screen spanning mode? I've had a read of the technical information but i can't quite work out if they are referring to the max total (Sum of both monitors) Resolution, or whether thats just for the External Monitior.

Im looking at purchasing an imac (to replace a mac mini), and using that with a current 22" WS monitor i have, but need to find out if ill be able to use the full res on it. (Incidentally the Mac mini has this monitor running at: 1680x1050).

Anyone who could shed some light onto this for me, would be great fully appreciated.

Regards,

Keith

re:

I did take a look at the imac page, but i couldn't figure out if the figures they were stating were just for the external monitor , or for the maximum spanned size.

Ah Well , cheers anyway :)

Note: Two monitors are still awesome.
