iMac memory doesn't look healthy

this doesn't look right. something wrong?

only playing sims

actually this is after playing, i looked while playing and page outs were 0
i believe page outs are bad?

while playing, the bar was about just under 3/4 full (5/8)

That much free ram and that many page outs? That doesn't look healthy at all. I guess you're getting bottlenecked somewhere.

how do i find out what is causing it

I honestly couldn't say. My first guess is some program is leaking memory and needs to be restarted.

Perhaps some other people who are more tech savvy can answer though.

do the page out stay the same (so it shows how many page outs since turning it on) or is it the amount of page outs occuring at the moment

Mine always looks like that. I don't think it's a problem with the iMac's.

I dunno, in the 1 week that I've had this new iMac, I've never had any problems with page outs.

The numbers I've been getting have been around 200k page ins to every 50 page outs.
