Had a dilemma and was hoping to get some answers...so here's the scenario:

-Bought a 27' inch i7 iMac and was going to upgrade the memory with 4 GB sticks.

-Planning to take the 2 X 2GB sticks out and put them in my 2010 Mac Mini serving as my HTPC.

-Last, I am selling (basically giving away) my 2006 white Intel iMac to a friend for a small fee.

My questions are:

1) Will the original iMac memory work fine in the Mac Mini even though it is of faster speed than what the Mac Mini specs show?

2) Can I take the memory from the Mac Mini and put it in the 2006 iMac without problems?

Thanks!
