Hi
my Imac 21.5 Mid-2011 got a gpu issue. I went to all troubleshooting check, including deep dive, baking it etc., and I concluded the gpu is dead. Its model is the AMD Radeon HD 6750M.
So I bought on ebay another gpu. However when I got it, I realized it is from an iMac 21.5 Late-2011. It is the same model however it has 256 MB vRAM instead of 512 MB.
The problem: that gpu is not recognized by my mainboard. I checked the LEDs, only #1 and #2 lid up.
Someone would know how can I make that gpu being recognized by my mainboard ? Any trick etc ?
Thanks,
Marc
