Hey all, I'm in need of some help. My IMac likes to freeze momentarily while playing games. What happens is the game will freeze and the spinning beach ball will come up, then after a second or 3 it will catch back up and keep on going. Its starting to happen alot and its starting to bug me.

Is there anything I can do to stop this?

I have Leopard with all updates installed. The only software i'm running while the game is playing is Mail and Safari.

If you don't mind my asking what game(s) are you trying to play? During what parts of the game does it freeze? I'm currently playing the mac client versions of World of Warcraft (runs beautifully), EVE Online (occasional graphic glitches), and Need For Speed Carbon (not so good performance).
