Just checked my tracking status and my iMac has arrived in Sydney AUS from China. It only has to get to Melbourne and I will be in Mac OSX heaven. YAY!

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive in Sydney :(

I'd love for it to get to me by Friday, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. The idea of finally having a Mac, an AIO and a working/new computer in general is just too exciting though! :D

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

Mine's somewhere between Memphis and Toronto, the customs paperwork stalled in Calgary. I'm in Eastern Canada. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow. So hyped!

Is there a better smell than brand new hardware?

Maybe new trainers but its definitly one of the best :D

I got my iMac back end of last year and i hate not being on it. Sometimes i sit infront of it trying to think of an excuse to use it.

Did you go for the trackpad or mouse?

Mouse for now. I don't think my wife would appreciate that much change at once (first Mac). I plan on adding the Trackpad later this year, when Lion comes out.

Haha. I'm exactly the same. Moved from windows and the wife has taken a bit of getting used to on the OS. I'm new to it too but she seeks me out for answer to which i don't know so be prepared. :D

She also sticks with the mouse but purely because she doesn't get on with gestures and can't be bothered to learn.

You can just feel the excitement in this thread, it's electric waiting for a new product to arrive.
My iMac is due on the 19th but seeing it is in Sydney now, on the 11th, it's bound to be here early......the anticipation is killing me.....go TNT!:)

You know you can have both paired to your iMac and use whichever you want. We do that, I use the Trackpad and she uses the mouse.

Ordered mine yesterday, due for delivery Wednesday 18th May here in UK
Dont know why it quotes 3 days for shipping on the apple website

You got TNT? UPS is delivering my iMac. Any reason why some get TNT and some UPS? :)

I'm in Australia and my iMac is coming from China. Once it reached Australia TNT delivers it to the home. I have no idea who the carriers are outside Australia. It could well be UPS?

It depends on where the iMacs are sourced from. As I understand it (I may well be wrong) Apple ships it in the stated time on their website (in your case 4 days) to your country. Then add, however many days for the carrier, to get it to your address.

On the FedEx delivery truck . . .

Just checked this morning, and it's on the FedEx delivery truck. Awesomeness!!! BTW, I'm here in Florida.

It's been a long time since a bought a new Mac, and am really looking forward to it. The last new one I bought was a B/W G3 rev. 1 with a B/W CRT display. I've been a home built HTPC user for the longest time. I felt it was time for a change!

Getting all tingly inside . . .

I do hope it comes today, I have a sneaking suspicion it will come tomorrow though.
