yo guys..i m switching to mac and i ve got some questions.. i would appreciate the help
its about 2.4 iMac with 2gb RAM
1) do you think a 750 GB hard drive could clog it up?
2) what is the best program to use for music production (focused on electronic)
logic express 8?

any pre purchase advice on i macs ???
thanx

750 GB drive will be totally fine. Post your music question in the music forum.

thats lots of space

750 GB is a ton of space for a lot of things. Working with videos would probably chew it up more quickly than other things, depending on how many you have.

I would get the stock standard drive (320 ? )and use the money saved to buy a big fast FW800 external drive. Use it for time machine and scratch disk etc.
Cheers

1-> Get the standard 320 GB HDD and buy two external firewire 800 drives

2-> Get logic studio... Install the application on the internal HDD... Put all the included samples and soundbanks on one of the external HDD ... Record to the other external HDD... That should give you MAX performance, and the best HDD live, since the disc's - in laymans terms - only have to read at one place at the time!

All the best.:D
