iMac not seeing Magic Mouse

Hey everyone,
Just today cleaned all junk off hard drive and completely erased and reformatted my computer. Now my White Intel iMac won't recognise the Magic Mouse.
It believes it is a Apple Pro mouse, no scroll either! Tried with a different Magic mouse, still no signal. Could be that it is only 10.6 when the magic mouse wasn't out....

Make sure your OS is up-to-date.

Also take the batteries out of the mouse for an hour to reset it. Then pair it with your mac again.

Do a check for updates as it may be just that you haven't updated the OS and that'll be the trouble: simple.
