I went to buy new imac today 20'' with intel.And got talked in to buying last imac 20'' also with out intel pd 850.00 brand new it didnt have restore disks.Havent taken out of box yet haveing 2nd thoughts should I have bought newest model new to sight please help. Mostly useing it for basic stuff on a g3 right now would like to do more the g3 is very slow.
 
I'm sure there are TONS of threads on this subject already, you should check those out.

I have the last imac model before the intels came out. I look at it this way: Intel or not, it's still a mac. It's still going to do what I want. I can get the programs I use everyday and have them now, or get an intel and wait until the newer versions come out. I'm happy with this model, if I want an intel, I can always upgrade later.

Well, if it's the iMac with iSight camera built it, I want it. Been looking for that model, so let me know. Where are you?
