Well, I got my new imac a little while ago and i would like to post a little info about it. I am going to start with design. This thing looks so much better than my macbook, and it is faster. 1.8 GHz to 2.0, 60 GB to 250 GB etc. I hope all of you love your new imacs as much as i do!

If only the iPhone Dock and MightyMouse matched with aluminum and black, instead of that white...

But still that is a gorgeous, simple (in a good iMac way) set up. I love it.

You can only seem some glare when you have the computer off, and IMHO I don't see that as a bad thing. It makes the computer look "shiny", new, and "high quality" when it is turned off. Really accentuates the glass that's there.

And when it's on through multiple sources they say that you don't notice the glare, and the same holds true for your set up. There's no glare, just the flash from the camera (I assume that's what the white spot in the middle of your screen is).

I second the glare situation.

It's more exciting seeing it in the box to be honest. It's like hearing Santa's sled around 2-3 o'clock Christmas eve's night... and you're the only one who heard it...

I love how Mac users are always so excited to show unboxing pictures. So scandalous, it's like your wedding night with OSX.

Yeah I have to admit I have never gotten so excited unboxing something like a computer but wow. I have never felt this feeling with any other computer beside a Mac.

There is honestly nothing better than walking out of an apple store lugging a 20" imac by your side! I parked far away from the store so that I could soak in the glory walk!!!:D

I like the screen. The "OMG glare" comments remind me of the pre-iPhone launch worries about smudging...really just not an issue at all when the screen is on and in use. I've had my iMac on for a while now, haven't even noticed the top of it getting too warm. No warmer than my previous iMac, really.
